Vicki Ball Reflexologist and Bowen Therapist
A little bit about me
I trained as a Reflexologist for two years at the Burghley Academy in Peterborough, qualifying in 2006. On qualification, I spent the first two years at Oakham Medical Practice where I worked with a number of regular clients with a vast range of concerns and symptoms, ranging from stress and hormonal imbalance, to IBS and infertility. Following my time at the practice, I decided to work from my treatment room at home, where I continue to work, in addition to the home visits I make every week.
I discovered the Bowen Technique two years ago and I was immediately struck by how effective the results of the treatment were. I decided to investigate further. I received treatments from a practitioner who was a qualified instructor in the technique and who later became my teacher. Having experienced first-hand the impact of the treatment I felt compelled to train in it. After a year of studying with the Bowen Technique Academy of Australia, and after over a 100 hours of practice, I qualified as a Bowen Therapist.
In addition to the work I carry out at my home practice, I work at the Broad Street Practice in Stamford, offering Reflexology and the Bowen Technique. Alongside my work there, I am also a volunteer at the Sue Ryder hospice in Peterborough, working with the patients in the hope of making them feel more comfortable.
My treatment room is situated at my home in the beautiful village of Ryhall, Rutland, just two miles north of Stamford, where I live with my husband on our fish farm.
